Hakko FT-801-02 Thermal Wire Stripper, ESD-Safe, Self-Contained Hakko FT801 Compact, redesigned unit is user-friendly with a comfortable "feel" in your hand and opens much wider to accommodate larger-sized outer jacketing. Self-contained unit does not require an additional power supply and will easily strip a wide variety of insulated wires including teflon. Digital controller offers consistent heat control and faster recovery. Unit features a virtual card key lockout and displays power settings in percentage of output potential (5% to 100% in increments of 5%). Handpiece stand has an idle feature to reduce power when tool is not in use. The cover protects the stored handpiece from accidentally damaging assemblies during the processing of larger wires when contact to exposed wire stripper tips is a possibility. 3-digit password security eliminates the need for a key card. Extra long 4.3 ft. (1.3m) cord for a longer reach. New handpiece is compatible with older version G1 blades. Optional extension cord (B3659) allows a maximum reach of 8.2 ft (2.5m). Auto power off.
