Kester 186/P flux pen is a unique tool for rework and touch-up solering. It allows controlled application of flux eliminating the mess associated with flux bottle dispensing. Flux pens are ideally suited for surface mount rework, component add-on applications and TAB assembly operations. Neutral ph water-soluble formula. Minimize cleaning costs while complying with environmental regulations. This item is not considered a hazardous material.

186 flux description: rosin flux has been developed for use in critical applications where difficult assemblies are to be soldered but processs requirements stipulate use of Type RMA flux. Solder multi-layer assemblies which require a high preheat temperature. Exposure to high preheat temperatures does not degrade solubility of the residue in normal cleaning solvents. Residue will not degrade surface insulation and resists moisture and fungus.
