Tronex 5223G is an extremely durable, extra-sharp hardened steel tool with perfectly balanced, razor-sharp cutting edges. Razor-flush cutters, with cutting edges that come together like two razor blades, will cut wire or leads exceptionally flush without the "pinch" or beveled edge common to flush or semi-flush cutting tools. Rugged and precise, taper-relief head flush cutter is capable of cutting soft wires up to 19 awg (0.9mm). Pointed head easily reaches into difficult-o-access areas yet has sufficient strength to avoid tip breakage. Precision ground cutting edges and ergonomically designed, cutter has a glare-resistant finish and non-protruding leaf spring. Razor-flush cutting minimizes shock when cutting leads on components. Fine set screw stop built into the tool prevents the sharp edges from dulling. Anti static, non-slip rubber handles ensure a comfortable grip even in high volume applications. 5" oal. Tool is also available with longer length handles 7" oal (Part No. 7223G).
