Weller WD-1001 ESD-Safe 85 Watt Digital Soldering Station, 120 V, 150-180 Degree F. Weller WD-1001 ESD-Safe digital unit has three programmable presets and a large LCD display to make operation easy. Preset buttons are fully programmable to three of your most commonly used temperatures without having to readjust. The operation of the buttons is similar to the station selection buttons on a car radio ... just set the temperature to the desired setting, press and hold any button for two seconds and the button is preset to that temperature. Program temperatures anywhere between 150 and 850 degrees F. Large high contrast LCD display simultaineously shows currently selected temperature and the temperatures of the three preset buttons. The 65W WMP soldering pencil is more accurate than other soldeing irons because of the shorter tip-to-grip distance. The WMP heating element is built into the pencil, not the tip, so the replacement tips cost substantially less. Station has setback, lockout, temperature window, Fahrenheit / Celsius switching, standby and auto-off timer.
