Xuron 170-II is the "economically priced" lead cutter. Effort-reducing tools have cutting edges that by-pass, like blades on a scissor, producing a precise, shear cut with less pressure on the component. Shear-cutting tool requires less cutting effort than conventional compression-type cutter and less cutting effort means fewer fatigue related complaints. Ergonomically designed, lightweight cutter has a glare eliminating black finish and return spring. 170II

Non-slip grips and the ultra-slim design allows for easier access into confined, hard-to-reach areas. Tough alloyed steel tool flush cuts soft wire up to 18awg (1.0mm) . 5" long. The 170-II is also available with optional static-dissipative grips (170-IIAS) or lead catcher (170-IIF).
