Specifications:
Fabric content: 98% polyester and 2% Shakespeare Conductive Fibers LLC Resistant fiber TM (carbon-sufficed monofilament nylon) knit in a grid pattern.
Carbon suffused monofilament nylon fiber is conductive at 104 and is non-flaking and non-sloughing. Finish is disperse-dyed heat set. Contains no softeners, hand builders, etc.
Life Expectancy:
Surface resistivity of fabric is 106 ohms per square with only slight deterioration noticed after 50 launerings.
Prescribed Home Cleaning Process for ECX-500 Econo$hield TM Garments
Cold, cool or warm water wash with LIQUID laundry detergent (i.e. LIQUID Tide, LIQUID Lemon Dash, LIQUID Cheer, Oxydol, etc.). DO NOT USE LIQUID FABRIC SOFTENERS or laundry detergents which contain added fabric softeners or bleach. In the case of severe soil or grease, stronger liquid detergents can be used IF THEY DO NOT CONTAIN ANY CHLORINE BLEACH.
Hang dry or tumble dry at lowest temperature setting on home dryer. Garment will dry very quickly. Do not allow garment to be exposed to dryer heat long than necessary to dry garment. DO NOT BLEACH. FOR MAXIMUM GARMENT LIFE WE RECOMMEND HANG DRYING.
